#Biography
##2002
Until this year he has presented more than 70 solo shows internationally and his works are displayed in the permanent exhibition of the Metropolitan Museum in New York and in many other important museums in Italy, Germany, America, Austria and elsewhere
2001 His last entry at the Venice Biennale was extremely successful with 20.000.000 visitors at his 3 metre high sculpture Social Climber, which was placed at the Grand Canal for 5 months

Works with a vast range of materials including canvas, glass, ceramics, bronze and photography

On return to America he begins to systematically work with photography, ultimately producing the series Family Album, while also searching for the connections between mark-making and the visual portrayal

After being awarded for his poetry, he travels to Greece to translate contemporary Greek poetry into the English language

Graduated from Amherst College, where he studied comparative literature next to Luca Samara
